Over the past few months, I’ve been a part of a team of designers working on the redesign of Columbus Square Park. The project is through the Community Design Collaborative,?a community design center that provides?pro bono?preliminary design services to nonprofit organizations in greater Philadelphia. As a volunteer member of the team, I was responsible for creating the illustrations that eventually manifested through various design meetings, reviews and coordination with public officials.
I also have a tie to the park, since it is only a few blocks from my house. I hope the renderings serve as a tool to help promote the possibilities of the park.
